Four poems created for a video project with “portraits” of each student at the CLI Conservatory. My task was to write poems based on the bulk selected videos, and then fine tune the poetry and timing to the final selected videos of each student.
I choreographed this piece in response to the idea of the rhythm of speech and human language, and then asked my musical friend to compose a brief musical score that responded to that same idea. This video is the combination of those two items, which were created in isolation of each other.
