D.B. Anderson has served as Associate Director of Communications and Manager of Content Strategy for a non-profit membership association, and a senior business analyst at The College Board. In these roles she authored over 50 books and other publications, and was lead project visionary and manager for several software applications.

She has long been involved in economic justice issues for under-served populations, particularly in the area of access to higher education, and is an experienced manager of public benefits programs. D.B. has conducted presentations and consulted for numerous universities including Cleveland State, Walden, Concordia College, Georgian Court, Tulane, and more. D.B. has also held leadership positions at Broward College, University of Tennessee, Southern College of Optometry, and Nova Southeastern University.

Education
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and earned a Master's degree in Library & Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. D.B. is a trained business requirements analyst who was personally mentored in the Rational Unified Process by Brian Lyons at Number Six Software.

Awards
D.B. was a key member of a website redesign team that won "Best in Class 2011' from Interactive Media Awards and "Outstanding Achievement 2011' from the Web Marketing Association. She was recognized by Gawker Media, Inc. as the author of the #1 Independent Post on the Kinja platform for all of 2014.
