Amber is an International Marketing Associate and Freelance Writer. From a tiny tot she has rarely been seen without a pen in her hand and loves nothing more than documenting the crazy world around her. Last year she decided to up sticks for a new life in Italy, where she currently resides. She loves all things art and culture, is a huge fan of Drag Queens and is proud to know word for word every single Disney movie; fact.
Why do we write? Do we write to express ourselves? To feed that creative buzz inside us? Or simply because we can? Me, I write to make sense of the world around me. Ever since I could, I have written poems and stories about the things that inspire me; the things that affect me in some way or the other.
Posted: I'd always been someone who planned my life away. "Old before her years" they said - and I could never understand why. At 22 I had graduated from University, moved in with my boyfriend and begun a role in a world-renowned organisation.
I've always been someone that's struggled with self esteem. On the outside, I probably look like the bubbliest, most confident girl you've ever met. I've done stand up, I was a competitive dancer, I'm not afraid to belt out a Disney classic in front of an office full of colleagues (true story).
We all need a little helping hand now and again to go out and grab the day by the balls. As much as we try, motivation does tend to slip; especially through these sluggish winter days when all we want to do is eat all the carbs and wistfully dream of our warm bed (just me, no?).

Grupo Corpo Reviewed When we think of Brazil, what is it we think of? Is it the football? The carnivals? The vibrant culture? Taking a wild stab in the dark I would assume dance might not be high up on that list, but after tonight's performance of Grupo Corpo by Dance Consortium, it's safe to say I've become totally intoxicated by the rich colours and movement of Brazil.

Break ups are an absolute bitch. There's no way around it. They drown you, they suffocate you and they leave the remains in a sad heap of self-loathing and pain. Nothing anyone can say can reassure you that things WILL get better, that he/she was a TOTAL douche bag.
Amber Bell graduated from Cardiff University in 2013 with a degree in English Language. During the course of her education and in the months after graduating, she completed a series of work experience opportunities and it resulted in gaining her dream job. It's common knowledge that these days a degree is not enough.
