My first e-book: Hidden Money: Your Guide To Social Security Disability Income (SSDI) is out to beta readers, and is expected to be on sale in April 2023. The book chronicles my successful application for SSDI in only five months (the minimum), tells how the system works, and encourages applicants not to hire attorneys or advocates to file for them because most people can do it themselves.

Writing is a passion of mine, something I've done since elementary school, and I hope to continue as long as I am alive. Topics of particular interest to me are the North Carolina beaches, interesting people, and places that stir my imagination.

Sundial Coffee and Tea has been open for less than a year, but already it has become a home away from home for many Topsail area residents and visitors. On any day the cozy couch and brightly colored tables are filled with old friends catching up, young moms chatting with friends, and entrepreneurs and students multi-tasking on laptops.
