Margaret Staadt

Supply Chain B2B Content Writer

United States

I have both a Bachelor of Science in Communications (with a journalism emphasis) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. I am also a CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management).

My first writing job was that of a technical writer for an oil and gas news publisher. I later worked as an administrative assistant for an aviation underwriting firm, which involved editing the vice president's outgoing correspondence. Working for writing brokers in more recent years as a ghostwriter, I wrote e-books, articles, SEO articles, and blog posts on many different topics.

The aircraft manufacturing industry notoriously lays people off and then recalls them. So, I call my nearly 10 years of material handling experience at Boeing (Wichita, KS) "my other career." Other supply chain-related jobs held include production control analyst at Boeing and SAP MM clerk in the purchasing department in the headquarters building of Pilgrim's Pride, a chicken processing company.

It now makes sense to utilize my extensive supply chain experience, intense supply chain training, and relevant recent writing experience by writing for B2B companies as a freelance writer in the supply chain space.
