Lindsey Korte

I am an adept generalist in the the communications space and enjoy the challenge of creating order out of chaos, making technical writing united in one voice through multiple contributors, engaging in the holistic challenge of creating empathetic and accessible content via UX principles, meticulously editing content, and taking complete ownership in creating freelance communication projects that engage end users.

I strive for authenticity and honesty above all else because that is how we truly learn to grow. I am always honing my craft and lookin for opportunities to enhance my skillset and reach my eventual goal of becoming a self-motivated and self-facilitated UX designer.

I am also a person who values balance in all aspects of my life; balance is essential to my professional life and has lead me to become a communications expert across writing styles, communication purposes, and industry standards.

My academic background in area studies has allowed me to become adept at learning quickly to diverse subject matter areas and learning area-specific language to pair with enhanced writing practices that appeal to end users' psyche and how humans gain value from reading content. This has directly lead to my career in knowledge management, where I holistically manage the content development, maintenance, and use of internal content within an entire organization composed of several business focuses.

Previous work includes technical writing, copywriting, and blog post creation in the tech startup space and through my own freelance endeavors.
