Joseph Lee

Communications Strategist, media creative, and English writer

Singapore

Part strategist, part storyteller, Joseph trades a wizard’s wand for a pen and brings together a chameleon’s instinct for tone, a surgeon’s precision in editing and a bloodhound’s nose for the right story or advertising lead. He is currently the Strategic Communications Executive at the Singapore Youth Flying Club, building its communications function from the ground up to support brand, PR and youth recruitment into aviation.

Previously, Joseph was part of the Allianz Asia Pacific communications team, producing internal and external communications for the CEO’s office and coordinating with operating entities across the region. He also brings over three years of English and Literature teaching experience from various tuition centres, alongside journalism and media work writing for The New Paper, The Straits Times, Catholic News and serving as a Media Officer at The Bible Society.

Joseph graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts (English) with honours from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2023). His poems have been published in The Poetry Society of New York and The Tiger Moth Review, and he maintains a longtime WordPress blog for his creative work.

Wrote the full script for and co-produced an hour-long Singapore National Day programme in honour of guest workers. Worked under AGWO together with Hope Initiative Alliance and the Ministry of Manpower for this project. This clip will direct you to an original segment under my sole creative direction.

I was in charge of The Bible Society's social media channels on Facebook and Instagram from May-Aug 2021, growing their Instagram channel by 1000 followers in 3 months. I ideated post and Instastory ideas, wrote captions, and coordinated with their in-house artist. I also wrote and disseminated e-blasts via Constant Contact for the company and their events.
