Fierce Latinas 101

The Latina Power in the room was palpable. At this past week's Hispanicize conference one of the hands down BEST sessions I attended was "Adelante Movement: The Wisdom of Latina Legends." Together with Coca-Cola and the brainchild of entrepreneurial cubana Nely Galán - Adelante serves as a motivational speaker platform featuring accomplished Latinas - past luminaries include chicana author Sandra Cisneros and Noble Peace Laureate Rigoberto Menchu.
