Tatiana Audley Snedeker

Sports Writer & College Student

United States

Despite having a completely different course of study, I fell in love with baseball writing in 2019 when I started creating content for risingapple.com, since then I have written over 100 published articles and would love any opportunities in writing that may arise.

I am now writing for CallToThePen.com and formerly writing for EliteSportsNY.com, MetsmerizedOnline.com, and RisingApple.com.

Currently, I am an MPH student at George Washington University studying global health epidemiology. I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in health sciences. While I have a busy schedule with graduate school, I would love any opportunity to write or create any baseball-specific content. I have a specialty in analytical writing as I am very versed in Sabermetrics and I study statistics as a large component of my master's education.

New York Yankees: Is Joey Gallo overrated or what is expected?

Between his time on the Texas Rangers, and now the New York Yankees, Joey Gallo is one of Major League Baseball's most blatant examples of a three outcome player. Gallo has only broken above a .250 season batting average once in his career (in 2019) and strikes out and walks a ridiculous amount, having 111 walks and 213 strikeouts in 2021 (leading the league in Ks).

Top 5 starting pitcher options for the New York Yankees

New York Yankees fans were hopeful in signing starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi once the 30-year-old opted for free agency fresh off the Mariners. Yet, now that the lefty has signed a three-year, 36 million dollar contract with the Blue Jays, the Bronx Bombers need to look into other options to fill their rotation.

MLB Network reporters powerless in reporting the truth

It's no secret that Major League Baseball fans have been unhappy with commissioner Rob Manfred for a considerable amount of time. From on-field changes such as the three batter minimum and extra-inning rules to the current lockout, players and fans alike have been critical, to say the least.

Three Possible Landing Spots for Max Scherzer

When it comes to starting pitching, 37-year-old ace Max Scherzer is at the top of the free-agent market. Scherzer spent 2021 split between the Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodgers, finishing out the season with a 2.46 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and 2.97 FIP over 179 innings pitched.

Rob Manfred is mishandeling the foreign substance issue

When Major League Baseball announced the new foreign substance guidelines, I like many others thought it would be a good thing. However, with umpires checking pitchers right after they come off the mound and the antics that ensue because of it. It's ultimately just slowing down the game and making it not as enjoyable.

The Tim Tebow Experiment has come to an end

Despite his inability to hit proficiently above the AA level, Tim Tebow was committed to being an addition to the New York Mets organization. Now, three years later, the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner has announced his retirement from professional baseball. I never want to be partially in on anything.

New York Mets: Will Edwin Diaz hurt or help the bullpen in 2020?

Year after year the New York Mets franchise brings in a mix of promising new players and over the hill vets, promising that this is going to be our year. They start off hot in Spring Training going into the beginning of the season giving the fans a sense of ignorant bliss, that THIS will be our year.
